TERMS & CONDITION
The website www.glonur.com and any related mobile application (hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”) is owned, maintained, operated and managed by RIG Engineer Consultancy and Management Services Private Limited (hereafter referred in this document as “GLONUR®”/ “We”/ “Us”). Any access of the Platform or use of the Services, offered by GLONUR® through the Platform (“Services”), is subject to your acceptance of these Terms & Conditions (“T&Cs”). These T&Cs will apply to you, the user (“You” or “User”), and, as applicable, Users who are seeking job opportunities in the nursing field (“Job Seeker(s)”) through the Site, and Users seeking to recruit nursing professionals, including but not limited to government agencies, emergency response services, training providers, employment consultants and recruitment agencies (“Employers”).
We encourage you to read these terms very carefully as any and all uses of our Platform and/or Services is governed by these same T&Cs.
1. DEFINITIONS & INTERPRETATION
1.1 The words and terms below, when used in this contract, have the meaning given here, unless the context clearly implies otherwise and will govern the User’s use of the Platform.
1.1.1 Agreement – These Terms & Conditions, together with the Privacy Notice & Advertising Policy, contain the exhaustive list of provisions & principles that govern the relationship between Glonur® and its Users;
1.1.2 Glonur®, Us or We – RIG Engineer Consultancy and Management Services Private Limited, a company registered with the State of Kerala, India under a Company Identification Number U74110KL2014PTC035855 and holder of the Glonur® trademark;
1.1.3User or You – A person who has an account with Glonur® and/or who uses our Services;
1.1.3.1 Job seeker – A person who registered with the Platform to seek, actively or passively, information regarding employment opportunities;
1.1.3.2. Employer – A person who registered with the Platform to share, actively or passively, information regarding employment opportunities;
1.1.4. Privacy Notice – The document available at https://glonur.com/home/privacy;
1.1.5. Representative – A person duly authorised or empowered to pursue the interest of others;
1.1.6. Person – Any individual, company, partnership, joint venture, association, organisation, institution, trust or agency, having a distinct legal character;
1.1.7 Service(s) – Any software, whether or not in downloadable format, accessible or otherwise used by you through the website, allowing you to take advantage of the Platform and the functionalities presented thereon;
1.1.8 Terms & Conditions – The provisions outlined in this document;
1.1.9 Platform – www.glonur.com;
1.1.10 Advertising Policy – The document available at www.glonur.com/home/GlonurAdPolicy
1.2 In these Terms & Conditions, unless the context requires differently:
1.2.1 References to these Terms & Conditions include references to any amended Terms & Conditions, which supersede these Terms & Conditions;
1.2.2 Unless otherwise stated, in case of conflict between these Terms & Conditions and any other document referred to in these Terms & Conditions, these Terms & Conditions shall prevail;
1.2.3 References to Glonur® or the trademark holder shall be deemed to include their respective successors, beneficiaries and/or transferees;
1.2.4 Section headings are for reference only and shall not affect the interpretation of these Terms & Conditions;
1.2.5 References to gender include every gender & references to the singular include the plural and vice versa;
1.2.6 References to servers or ‘our server’ or ‘our servers’, if appropriate, include a reference to third party server or servers used to provide the Services or the Platform;
1.2.7 Any sentence introduced by the words ‘containing’ or ‘including’ or similar expression is indicative & does not limit the meaning of words that follow and will be considered ‘without limitation’.
2. Acceptance
2.1 By registering an account with Glonur® you confirm that you have read and understood these Terms & Conditions, which may be modified from time to time, and acknowledge that they will govern the access to and use of our Service and/or Platform.
2.2 The Agreement applies to the usage of the Platform and comes into force as soon as you tick the acceptance box during the registration process and create your account. Ticking the box confirms to us that you have read, understood and accept these Terms & Conditions without any reservations or purpose of evasion.
2.3 Any rights not expressly granted in these Terms & Conditions are reserved.
2.4 If you do not entirely agree with these Terms & Conditions, you should immediately cease to use our Services and/or Platform. Any activity you may engage in prior to accepting these Terms & Conditions is strictly your responsibility & may not be transferred nor imputed onto us under any circumstances.
3. Modification
3.1 Glonur® reserves the right to amend, modify and update these Terms & Conditions as well as our Privacy Notice & Advertising Policy at any time, either partially or completely. In the event that the Terms & Conditions change, communication of such change will be issued accordingly.
3.2 Continued use, access to and participation in the Platform and/or Services after such communication shall constitute your acceptance of the updated Terms & Conditions, Privacy Notice & Advertising Policy.
3.3 These Terms & Conditions, together with our Privacy Notice & Advertising Policy, represent the entire Agreement and understanding between you & us and cannot be modified except as expressly provided in clause 3.1. above. For the avoidance of doubt, this expressly excludes any variation or change to this Agreement given orally, by chat, SMS, e-mail or any other such means inadvertently or otherwise by our individual customer service representative.
4. Account registration
4.1 Access to & partaking in the Platform and our Services is subject to the User registering an account, using the Job Seeker or Employer registration forms available at www.glonur.com. In completing the registration process as well as in any other interaction with Glonur®, you agree to provide true, accurate and complete information, and to update this information to maintain its truthfulness, accuracy and completeness. In case of any change in your information including personal information provided to us, you agree to update your account information promptly. Any personal information collected through the Platform will processed in accordance with the provisions laid down in our Privacy Notice.
4.2 By creating an account with Glonur®, you warrant that you satisfy all of the following eligibility requirements:
4.2.1 You are at least 18 years old – if you are an individual – or – if you represent an entity – that it is legally constituted in accordance with the relevant laws & regulations of the country of incorporation;
4.2.2 You are legally capable of entering into a binding contract with Glonur® under the applicable laws;
4.2.3 You are not in any way prohibited by the applicable law in the jurisdiction in which you are currently located to agree to and abide by these Terms & Conditions;
4.2.4 You are not a citizen or resident of, or located in, a country or region that is subject to any sovereign or other sanctions or embargoes.
4.3 You agree and declare that you have entered your own personal details & that, at all times, you will:
4.3.1 Maintain the confidentiality of your account;
4.3.2 Remain personally responsible for all activities that occur under your account;
4.3.3 Not attempt nor aide others’ attempts to impersonate a third person for any purposes;
4.3.4 Not allow any other person to use your login credentials or in any way meddle with your account nor perform any actions under your account;
4.3.5 Abide by these Terms & Conditions as well as the processes, procedures, guidelines & instructions referenced to throughout the Platform;
4.3.6 Retain exclusive responsibility for any & all financial activity on the Platform associated with your account;
4.3.7 Not use the Platform for illegal or fraudulent activity;
4.3.8 Guarantee that the source of all funds used on the Platform derives from legal activity
4.4 You are allowed to open only one account and Glonur® reserves the right to close all accounts that are open under by the same individual or connected to the same person. If Glonur® has reasonable grounds to believe that a User has committed or attempted to commit any fraud, Glonur® reserves the right to cancel any account and/or void any transactions pertaining to the same, without prejudice to any other action, or to terminate the Agreement.
4.5 Glonur® reserves the right to reject a User’s application to join the Platform and close a User’s account, at Glonur® sole discretion.
4.6 You agree to immediately notify us of any unauthorised use, or suspected unauthorised use of your account or any other breach of security. We reserve the right to promptly disable your login credentials and suspend your access to our Services and/or the Platform in the event we have any reason to believe that you have breached any of the provisions set out in these Terms & Conditions, including the Privacy Notice as well as the Advertising Policy, or that security of your account has been compromised.
5. Personal information
5.1 The personal information that Glonur® may request for registration includes but is not limited to first name, surname, date of birth, address, e-mail, telephone number, language, payment information and so forth.
5.2 It is the User's responsibility to ensure that all information provided to Glonur® is accurate, precise and up to date.
5.3 It is the responsibility of the User to protect their bank card against loss or theft, and the same should immediately contact the Glonur® customer service team, if the card is lost or stolen.
5.4 Your username must not be obscene, threatening, racist, offensive, derogatory, defamatory or infringe any intellectual property right or property right of a third party. If at Glonur®’s discretion, your username is considered to be inappropriate you will be asked by customer services to change it. Should you refuse this request Glonur® reserves the right to terminate your account indefinitely.
5.5 Glonur® accepts that all transactions are made by the rightful owner of the User account and are therefore valid. In no case is Glonur® liable for losses incurred by the User due to unauthorised use or misuse of their personal details.
5.6 Glonur® will use strict security measures in order to protect Users’ personal information against unauthorised access. However, the User remains solely responsible for securing their username & password, and all actions that take place because of access to the Service via their username and password.
5.7 Your personal data shall be kept confidential and will be processed in accordance with our Privacy Notice. We will not disclose your personal data unless compelled to do so by any applicable laws, regulations, court orders or by the relevant authorities. We reserve the right to disclose your personal data to our payment services providers and financial institutions to the extent necessary for completion of payments for the Services.

6. Licence to use the platform
6.1. We hereby grant you a personal non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the Services in accordance with these Terms & Conditions and subject to the following conditions:
6.1.1. You fulfil all of the eligibility criteria listed above;
6.1.2. All information included in the registration form submitted to Glonur® is true, accurate, complete, and corresponds to the name(s) appearing on the bank cards used for payments made on the Platform. We reserve the right to close your account in the event that the information provided to Glonur® is found to be false, inaccurate, deceitful or incomplete. It is your responsibility to inform us of any changes regarding the information you provided us with as soon as possible;
6.1.3. The use of the Services is a right that is bestowed upon you personally & therefore, it is to be exercised for personal and not commercial purposes;
6.1.4. You may not under any circumstance authorise a third party to use your account, your password or your identity to access the Services;
6.1.5. We reserve the right not to release any funds suspected to be connected to or proceeding from crime to you;
6.1.6. You acknowledge that it is strictly forbidden to post or transmit through the Platform and to any other Users any unlawful, harassing, abusive, threatening, libellous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, inflammatory, racially or ethnically objectionable, pornographic or profane material, or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offence, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law;
6.1.7. You will not create or provide any means (including, without limitation, via emulators) through which our Services may be used by others in circumvention of these Terms & Conditions.
6.1.8. You certify that you will not violate or attempt to violate or manipulate Glonur®’s security measures in any way. If Glonur® has reasonable suspicion with respect to this clause, we reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately and to deny you any access to the Platform;
6.1.9. You will not attempt to use any techniques designed to hide or mislead as to your IP or true location.
6.1.10. You agree and undertake that the services offered through the Platform are for the direct use of the user only and are not intended to be resold or used in any manner for any commercial purposes. Users are hereby prohibited from renting, selling or otherwise sharing any information received through the Platform for any commercial purposes of for any consideration, monetary or otherwise. Any violation by a user of this provisions shall entitle Glonur® to initiate appropriate legal action against such user in addition to restricting their rights to access or use the Platform. Refer a user you identified on the Platform to a third-party who is not a user of the Platform for purposes of making or receiving payments off the Platform.
6.2. Upon termination of this Agreement, the licence issued pursuant to clause 6.1 shall be automatically revoked and you shall stop using our Platform & Services.

7. Payments
7.1 You agree that we or a payment processor on our behalf will handle all financial transactions, and that we and the payment processor reserve the right to withhold any payments should either of us have reason to believe or any suspicion that you may be engaged in or have engaged in fraudulent, unlawful or otherwise improper activity.
7.2 We reserve the right to dynamically determine the applicable charges & fees for posting job on our Platform, and to introduce changes to the same based on the ‘Repository Plan’ chosen by the Employer as well as other factors such as localisation, specialisation and so forth.
7.3 You hereby agree that all payments whether handled by us directly or by our partner payment processors will be completed only after the relevant transaction amounts are converted either in Indian Rupees (for Users located in India) or United States Dollars (for Users located outside of India).
7.4 We refute, and you agree to us doing so, of any liability pertaining to delays of payments and/or erroneous transaction execution and/or cancellation of payments due to payment issues. Glonur® will not be liable for any losses, damages, interests of claims arising directly or indirectly from the use of any mode of payment offered on the platform, on account of (i) any transaction being declined for any reasons including but not limited to lack of authorisation or insufficiency of funds and/or (ii) any timeout occurring during a transaction.
7.5 Glonur® reserves the right to refuse to process transactions by Users who may have been flagged either by us or by our partner payment processors for suspicious activity, including but not limited to having prior history of questionable charges, or for reasons suggesting possible violations of laws, regulations & policies.
7.6 We accept payments made via (i) any valid credit/debit card, (ii) PayPal, and (iii) CCAvenue.
8. Our rights and responsibilities
8.1 Any & all dealings between Job Seekers & Employers, whether conducted under a contract or else, shall remain the exclusive domain of these two parties & at no situation shall Glonur® be deemed a party to any such contract or agreement.
8.2 Glonur® shall not be liable or responsible for the fulfilment of services as governed under a contract of employment between Job Seekers & Employers, and the same shall be subject to the terms of that same contract of employment.
8.3 Glonur® shall not be responsible for (i) inspecting the services to determine whether they have been rendered in a satisfactory manner, (ii) making any payment for the services rendered, (iii) ensuring that deliverables are executed in a timely manner. The Employer shall be solely responsible for managing, inspecting, accepting and paying for satisfactory services and deliverables in accordance with the said separate agreement entered into by and between the Users. In parallel to that, the Job Seeker shall solely be responsible for the performance and quality of the services in accordance with the said separate agreement entered into by and between the Users.
8.4 In the event there is a dispute between an Employer and a Job Seeker, the same shall be addressed and resolved between the parties and Glonur® shall not involve itself and shall not be responsible for resolving such disputes. You as a user agree that Glonur® is not liable for any loss or damage suffered by you in the course of receiving or providing the nursing services.
9. Termination & Account closure
9.1 We may suspend or terminate your use of the Platform or terminate your access to the Platform, in our sole discretion & without any liability to you or any third party.
9.2 Without prejudice to any other remedy available to us, Glonur® reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account or to strike down a job posting, and refuse to provide any or all of its Services to you if (i) you breach the letter or spirit of any of these Terms & Conditions, (ii) we are unable to verify or authenticate any information you provide to us, or (iii) we believe, in our sole discretion, that your actions may cause harm to our Users or to us, or are contrary to the legitimate interests of the Platform.
9.3 You have the right to cancel your account at any time by using the ‘Delete My Account’ function within your profile. Upon initiation, you will be required to verify the request through an OTP verification from your registered mobile number before the account deletion process commences.
9.4 Upon termination or closure of your account, you agree & acknowledge that that your rights to use the Platform & Services shall immediately cease.
10. Customer complaints and disputes
10.1 If you have a complaint or are experiencing difficulty with our Service you can raise a complaint with our customer support team via the e-mail address included at the bottom of this page.
10.2 Any complaint or claim of any nature should be communicated to us as soon as possible by contract our customer support team and no later than three months after the issue has occurred.
10.3 Glonur® commits to respond to complainants with the results of the enquiry within one month from the date of the lodgement of the complaint, and will endeavour to provide prompt resolution of issues at hand.
10.4 If you have reason to believe that another User has not followed or complied with their obligations under these Terms & Conditions, please, escalate the issue to our customer support team, using the e-mail address featured at the bottom of his page. In your referral, please, provide full details of the nature of your complaint and the materials to which the complaint relates.
10.5 If a User submits a complaint or a claim, Glonur® reserves the right at any time, without prior notice and without prejudice to any subsequent proceedings, to close the User’s account, deny access to all or part of the Platform.
11. Indemnity
11.1 By accepting these Terms & Conditions, you agree to indemnify us, to defend us and to exonerate Glonur®on demand in respect of any claim, damage, loss (whether direct or indirect), loss of reputation, loss of profits, cost or expense suffered by Glonur®, including but not limited to all legal fees, in relation to:
11.1.1 Any breach by you of these Terms & Conditions, rights of a third party or any law or regulation;
11.1.2 Your access to the Platform;
11.1.3 Any action/legal proceedings, claims, demands, or complaints made by a third party against Glonur® resulting from any breach by you of these Terms & Conditions and/or any relevant laws or rights of third parties;
11.1.4 Your fraud, dishonesty or criminal act.
11.2 Employers & Job Seekers agree to indemnify, hold harmless and defend Glonur® from any and all claims arising out of or related to their separate contractual arrangement, including but not limited to claims of misclassification, misleading rating, any claim that Glonur® was an Employer or joint Employer of said Job Seeker, as well as claims under any employment-related laws & conventions.
12. Intellectual Property rights
12.1 All rights, trademarks, patents and other intellectual property rights on any material or content (including but not limited to, software, data, applications, information, text, photographs, music, sounds, videos, graphics, logos, symbols, artwork and other material or moving images) contained on the Platform belong to Glonur®or have been granted for our benefit by the owners of the rights as part of the Service. No use of such content and intellectual property rights relating thereto without the prior written consent and express consent of the owner is permitted. All rights are reserved.
12.2 In particular, as regards the content (in whole or in part) the User is forbidden, to engage in any of the prohibited activities listed below:
12.2.1 The sale, transfer, lease or subcontract of content;
12.2.2 To change, edit, modify, adapt or restructure the content in any way;
12.2.3 To copy, distribute, perform or attempt to access the source code of the content for any purpose;
12.2.4 To use the Platform for any unlawful or illegal purposes or that in any way in breach of these Terms & Conditions;
12.2.5 If the User commits a prohibited act, the same will be held entirely responsible for all damages, costs and expenses arising therefrom;
12.2.6 The User may copy the content in an unaltered form for private use on their own personal computer, mobile phone or other access device, if and to the extent that such a copy is required for appropriate use of the Services;
12.2.7 The User shall inform Glonur® immediately if they are aware of any unauthorised use or copying of any content or any part of the Platform or any unauthorised access to any site or other unauthorised activities, including but not limited to, any prohibited act related to the Services by any person or entity. The Useragrees to provide Glonur® with all the assistance necessary for any search Glonur® carries out in accordance with information that the User provides Glonur® with.
13. Confidentiality
13.1 To the extent an Employer or Job Seeker provides confidential information to the other, the recipient shall protect the secrecy of the confidential information with the same degree of care as it uses to protect its own confidential information, but in no event with less than due care, and shall not (i) disclose confidential information to anyone except, in the case of Glonur®, to any Employer or Job Seeker engaged in a recruitment discussion, and (ii) use the confidential information, except as necessary for the interaction process between the Employer and Job Seeker on a need to know basis (including, without limitation, the storage or transmission of confidential information on or through the Platform).
13.2 Employer and Job Seeker shall not publish, or cause to be published, any confidential information, except as may be necessary for performance of Services for under a binding contract.
13.3 In the event either Job Seeker or Employer breaches this confidentiality obligation, Glonur® shall not be made liable for any such breach and the disclosing party shall not take any action against Glonur®.
13.4 For the purposes of these Terms & Conditions, confidential information means information relating to one party which is made available by such party to the other party in relation to the Services and includes any information, analyses, compilations, notes, studies, memoranda or other documents or derived from, containing or reflecting such information, but excludes information which:
13.4.1 is publicly available or becomes publicly available (other than as a result of disclosure by the recipient or any other person contrary to the terms of this Agreement);
13.4.2 was available (as can be demonstrated by the recipient's written records or other reasonable evidence) to the recipient or other person to whom it is furnished hereunder free of any restriction as to its use or disclosure prior to its being so furnished;
13.4.3 becomes available to the recipient (as can be demonstrated by the recipient’s written records or other reasonable evidence) from a source other than the provider, which source is not bound by any obligation of confidentiality to the provider in relation to such information;
13.4.4 is required to be disclosed, retained or maintained by law or any regulatory or government authority;
13.4.5 is independently developed by the recipient without any use of disclosing party’s confidential information.
14. Exclusion of warranty
14.1 You acknowledge that you have chosen to use the Services willingly and at your own risk and discretion.
14.2 Glonur® offers the Services 'as is', with no warranties, assurance, commitments or any declaration explicit or implied, legal or other.
14.3 Glonur® hereby excludes all terms, conditions, and warranties explicit or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties, commercial conditions, and/or matters of satisfactory quality, ability and adaptability to a specific end, completion or precision of service and of the application with regards to the failure to respect governing rules and laws.
14.4 It remains your responsibility to protect your system from all computer viruses and Glonur®, under any circumstances, shall not be held responsible for any losses incurred in relation to any viruses. In case of viruses in our systems, we reserve the right to suspend the Services
14.5 We do not guarantee that:
14.5.1 the Services are entirely secure and exempt from error;
14.5.2 the Services are updated regularly;
14.5.3 any defect in the Services are regularly corrected;
14.5.4 that access to the Services will be uninterrupted;
14.5.5 the Services are virus or bug free;
14.5.6 the Services will be continually operational;
14.5.7 that the Services are adequate;
14.5.8 that the material on the Platform or obtained via the Platform, including results of matches, is adequate and reliable.
14.6 Glonur® will not be held responsible for any act or omission by an internet service provider or of any other third party, including those with whom you may have contracted in order to have access to the Services. In case of litigation between the internet service provider and yourself, Glonur® cannot be a party to the suit, and such suit shall in no way affect the User’s obligations under this contract.
14.7 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions will exclude or restrict Glonur®’s responsibility in any manner which is prohibited by relevant laws.
15. Limitation of liability
15.1 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to:
15.1.1 limit your statutory rights (statutory rights include, for example, that we will provide our Services to a reasonable standard and within a reasonable time);
15.2 We will not be liable for any loss to you or a third party, that could not have been reasonably expected at the time you register or at the time you enter into a transaction for Services, such as any loss of income, business or profits or any information which is lost or corrupted, including but not limited to any damage or loss suffered or incurred by you as a result of:
15.2.1 any use of our Services in breach of these Terms & Conditions (including any use of our Services for commercial or business purposes);
15.2.2 failures caused by the equipment you use to access our Services, Platform or mobile applications or failures in any network (including failures by your internet service provider);
15.2.3 any incomplete, illegible, lost or delayed transactions (including as a result of technical failure);
15.2.4 any loss whatsoever arising from your abuse or misuse of your account or our Services;
15.2.5 any failure on our part to interact with you where we may have concerns about your activities;
15.2.6 any event outside our control or instances of force majeure;
15.2.7 our closure or suspension of your account in accordance with these Terms & Conditions;
15.2.8 your use or a third party's use of the Services or any link on the Platform;
15.2.9 any modification, suspension or interruption of Services; or
15.2.10 any improper functioning of the Services.
15.3 You acknowledge that in relation to the use of the Services that you will have no claims whatsoever against any Representatives of Glonur® or against Glonur® ourselves.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
16.1 These terms shall be governed by the Indian Laws and the internal substantive laws of India excluding its conflict of law provisions, regardless of your country or state of origin or where you access the Platform, and regardless of any principle of law that may provide for the application of the law of another jurisdiction. The courts of Kochi, Kerala, India shall have jurisdiction over all matters arising out of or in relation to the use or access of the Platform.
17. Breach of these Terms & Conditions
17.1 Glonur® reserves the right to seek all remedies available at law & equity in respect of a breach of these Terms & conditions.
18. Links to external websites
18.1 This Platform may contain links to and plug-ins from sites or applications owned, operated or controlled by third parties that are provided solely as a convenience to you and not as an endorsement by us of the contents of such other third party sites. We do not endorse and are not responsible for (i) any statements, opinion, advice or information made or displayed on Platform by any user or a third party or (ii) for any third party sites which may be linked to or from the Platform. Your use of any third party sites shall be at your own risk. We will not be liable to you for any loss or damage resulting from you accessing or using such third party sites. We strongly suggest that you read their Terms & Conditions before furnishing any data to them.
19. General
19.1 Failure of Glonur® to exercise their rights under these Terms & Conditions does not constitute a general waiver of those rights.
19.2 If any part of this Agreement is deemed invalid or unenforceable, then the invalid or unenforceable provision will be deemed superseded by a valid, enforceable provision that reflects as closely as possible the intent of the original provision and the remainder of this Agreement will continue to full effect.
19.3 This Agreement and any documents referred to herein represent the entire agreement between Glonur®and you and supersede any prior Agreement, understanding or arrangement, whether oral or in writing. Glonur® is an online recruitment platform connecting job seekers and employers within the healthcare industry worldwide. It allows job seekers to search for professional opportunities and further their career development while providing employers with the opportunity to list vacancies suitable for nursing and healthcare professionals.

Why do we process data?
We process personal data to register you as a job seeker or an employer (depending on your setting), to provide you the site functionalities (compile your CV or post a job advert), to communicate with you or to verify your identity in case you submit an official request to us.
Our collecting of personal data is strictly limited to what is necessary for the provision of our services, namely your first and last name, date of birth, mobile number, e-mail address, current address, nationality and gender. For example, in building their CVs on the Glonur® platform, job seekers are asked to include this information to enable employers to make informed decisions regarding their recruitment needs. Similarly, employers are asked to include their addresses to enable job seekers to make informed decisions regarding the opportunities they may be interested in, considering the potential need for relocation and so forth.
Additionally, our website uses cookies that may collect information regarding your preferences or your device but this is strictly limited to site functionality and analytics purposes. Wherever possible, we seek to aggregate the data we collect, thus limiting the risk of identification. *A*
On what basis do we process data?
We process the aforementioned sets of personal data to make sure we are able to deliver the full spectrum of functionalities the Glonur® platform provides and, in doing so, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Legitimate interest - For example, to respond to your queries about our services or follow up on a request you may have submitted to us. Also, we may notify you of any changes to this Privacy Notice, our website, our services or even provide you with information regarding services similar to those that we have previously provided to you;
- Entrance into and performance of a contract - For example, to take the necessary steps to prepare a contract for the provision of our services and to perform our contractual obligations under the same;
- Consent – For example, when you have subscribed to receive our newsletter or opted-in to receive marketing communications from us or our partners. You should be able to adjust your marketing preferences or even withdraw your consent using the ‘Privacy Settings’ functionality within your Glonur® account .
Who might you share data with?
For security and efficiency purposes, we deem it necessary and within ours common legitimate interests to work with global companies that are best positioned to guarantee the security of the infrastructure we use to operate this website. Therefore, although any data we may share with them should be limited to purely what is required to maintain a requisite level of security and functionality of our website, we feel compelled to share their details with you here: *B*
Please, note that due to the global operations of the abovementioned providers, some of your data may be transferred outside the European Union, but that will mostly be to the United States where servers of these providers are situated. Additionally, despite our best effort to seek to employ the services of reputable providers who have the necessary resources to maintain state of the art security measures of their infrastructure, we are not in a position to absolutely guarantee the secure transmission of data over the Internet. To that end, however, we are committed to fully utilising all available tools such as 2FA, encryption, password protection etc. at all times when we conduct our business.
Furthermore, we may share your information with law enforcement agencies – where we may be under a legal obligation to aide an investigation into any unlawful behaviour – and with other participants in the Glonur® platform purely for the purposes of delivering our services, e.g. we may share a job seeker’s details with an employer who is interested in progressing the former through the recruitment process for a vacancy they hold. Please, be advised that, by using our platform, you voluntarily submit information to be processed and stored by Glonur® for the aforementioned purposes, which processing will take place in India and under the provisions laid down by the applicable local laws.
Lastly, although third countries such as the United States and India are not subject to ‘adequacy decisions’ issued by the European Commission, and as such the level of protection afforded under local legislation is different to that in Europe, we would like to reassure you that any such transfers are made in lieu of our relationships with reputable third party vendors and on the basis of contractual provisions attributing responsibility to the same for any potential security risks.
How long do you keep data?
We retain data for a period no longer than necessary to manage ongoing relationships with clients and for a reasonable period thereafter in case of a challenge. For example:
- we may hold identification and contact information for a period of 6 years from the contract completion date in case of challenge; *C*

What rights do I have?
